Activity Organizer: Dr. Sharma Email: rachna.sharma@basised.com Dates: Fridays (until March or at the end of competition) Location: Room 231 National Science Bowl is a nationwide academic competition that tests students’ knowledge in all areas of science and mathematics. Teams face-off in a fast-paced question-and-answer format, being tested on a range of science disciplines including biology, chemistry, Earth science, physics, energy, and math. The contest is quite competitive with the best bay area school teams competing against one another. The competition takes place in March on a Saturday. It is a full day process. Membership is by invitation only after mandatory assessment. A total of 12 students shall be selected for the club, with team 1 consisting of 5 students, and team 2 consisting of 5 students. The remaining 2 students serve as backup. Participation in team 2 will not be confirmed until two weeks before the competition by the organizer (It is based on total participation).

About This Organizer

We are a STEM and Liberal Arts focused Independent School for students entering grades K-12 in the fall, and we are located in San Jose, CA.
