Recommended for children ages 7-11 years old. People use the phrase “it’s not rocket science” because they view rocket science as difficult; however, this workshop will prove them wrong. Constructing a strong fuselage, designing an aerodynamic nose cone, and deciding where to place fins are all variables that kids will consider when trying create a rocket that will fly the farthest or on target. Students will engineer rockets that will be powered by their breath, compressed air, and water pressure. This workshop is sure to launch any child’s interest in rocket science.
