There is a gradation of increased vocabulary both in technique & pointe classes. The growth that comes through performance preparation is a large contributing factor to the training at these levels. DRESS CODE Level 7 Girls: Motionwear #2524 center seamed/princess seamed camisole leotard in Black.Tights: Body Wrappers A45 or C45 Ballet Pink (BAT) seamed tights for performances. They may wear any full-length pink tights for class. We recommend convertible tights. Shoes: Capezio Juliet light pink leather ballet slippers for performances. Free Dress Day: Saturday is “Free Dress" day for Intermediate & Advanced Division students, when a leotard of any color may be worn. Pink tights are required on “Free Dress” day. Boys: Black tights, white t-shirt (tucked-in) or leotard, white ballet shoes, white socks. Students are encouraged to take make-up classes when they have been absent. Students should consult their teacher for appropriate make-up classes. Make-up classes must be taken within the same quarter as the absence. Students arriving out of dress code or more than 10 minutes late may be asked to observe class rather than participate. Technique class must be taken in order to participate in pointe class.
