Armed with eight legs, two claws, and a tough outer shell, crabs are the ultimate sideways shufflers! These quirky crustaceans come in all shapes and sizes. Some sport fierce claws for crushing, while others have adorable little eyes that peek out from the sand, looking as if they’re always surprised. There are even crabs so covered in plants and creatures that they blend right in—until they turn around and pinch you! They use their claws to talk, shed their exoskeletons, and even regenerate lost limbs. This week at camp, we’ll race like crabs, explore crab traps, and create crab-inspired art from their carapaces. While we might be a bit shy at first, we hope you’ll come out of your shell and take a walk on the wild side with us!
