About This Activity
There exists in the waters around Sanibel a very peculiar creature… it is a common animal yet rarely seen… With big eyes and a soft, squishy body, octopuses are curious creatures that love to explore, play hide and seek, and make discoveries – just like our youngest campers! This week will be a celebration of colors and camouflage – the octopus’ best characteristics. Through games and art, we will master the craft of blending in. We’ll go on a mighty octopus hunt to see if we can find some hiding in plain view, and what better way to learn about colors than to mix them, play with them, and make the most magical marine mural? This week is sure to stand out as we do our best to blend in like the sneaky octopus.
