SMBA Instruction and Drills Our hitting camps provide expert instruction on various aspects of hitting, including grip, stance, balance, stride, swing mechanics, and plate zone hitting. Our hitting camp focuses on improving various aspects of hitting through supervised stations and our batting cages. Repetition and Practice: Players will engage in a significant amount of hitting repetitions to refine their techniques and develop muscle memory. We use hitting machines, tee work, soft toss, eye-hand hitting drills as well as the mental approach to the plate! Skill Development Our goal is to enhance skills such as hand speed, power speed, agility, and the how to be effective at the plate knowing the situation and the approach. Hitters rotate through a series of supervised stations, including batting cages, each designed to teach a different component of hitting.
