This class is for middle schoolers and high schoolers with little to no tennis experience. In this class, players will get an introduction to tennis. In this class you will learn to hit forehands, backhands, volleys, overheads and serves, through drills and games.
Prerequisite SkillsPlayers should meet the following criteria:- Must be in middle school or high school.

Equipment Requirements
- Players must bring a tennis racquet and wear non-marking shoes.
Online registration is required. Walk-in registration is not available.
REFUNDS/TRANSFERS - A $15.00 processing fee applies for each activity session refunded. Refunds will be prorated. Refund/transfer requests must be emailed to the Community Classes & Camps office at community.classes@santamonica.gov. Refunds will be issued only if requested within one day after the first class meeting. Material fees are not discountable and are nonrefundable.
REFUNDS FOR DUPLICATE/MULTIPLE ENROLLMENTS resulting from multiple registration submissions (at one or more offices or via online registration) will be subject to a $15.00 processing fee for each activity session refunded.
CANCELLED CLASSES: Makeups will not be offered for classes missed by the student. Programs are subject to cancellation if minimum enrollment is not met.
