Description
This 60-minute class is designed to introduce and improve your child's tennis performance. Classes
will begin with warm up exercises, hand -eye coordination drills and then move onto instruction on grips, swing technique,
and introduction on learning how to keep score in playing a match First half of class is swing technique drills and second
half will end with games or match play. It's a healthy balance of instruction while keeping it fun with Live Ball games or
match play! Great class if wanting child to prepare for school tennis or competitive play
All students must bring one new can of balls and tennis racquet to class.

PRIORITY ONLINE REGISTRATION for Santa Monica residents begins Wednesday, January 24 at 6 a.m. Non-resident registration begins Wednesday, January 31 at 6 a.m. Online registration is required. Walk-in registration is not available.
REFUNDS/TRANSFERS - A $15.00 processing fee applies for each activity session refunded. Refunds will be prorated. Refund/transfer requests must be emailed to the Community Classes & Camps office at community.classes@santamonica.gov. Refunds will be issued only if requested within one day after the first class meeting. Material fees are not discountable and are nonrefundable.
REFUNDS FOR DUPLICATE/MULTIPLE ENROLLMENTS resulting from multiple registration submissions (at one or more offices or via online registration) will be subject to a $15.00 processing fee for each activity session refunded.
CANCELLED CLASSES will be made up at the end of the session. Makeups will not be offered for classes missed by the student. Programs are subject to cancellation if minimum enrollment is not met.
