In this exciting class, students will be actively working towards helping animals, protecting animal rights and preservation. Animal protection goes hand-in-hand with student's ever-increasing sense of compassion and desire to make a difference in the world. What a perfect place to have lively discussions, make fun animal art and create loving care projects that will stimulate students to think about and discover ways to help all kinds of animals! Throughout history, certain people have made an impact on furthering animal awareness and education, conservation and preservation. Through fun facts and interesting stories, students will also explore the powerful contributions from important people like Jane Goodall (chimpanzees), Dian Fossey (gorillas) and Jacques Cousteau (marine life), as well as many other people who have made a difference in our world- and in the world of animals. Students will then join the ranks of these activists and get wildly creative as they stand up for their beliefs about protecting animal rights and preventing the suffering of animals, work on wildlife conservation, create cool projects- and help to spread the word.
