Capoeira is a Brazilian martial art that combines martial arts, dance, music and acrobatics. In this 6 week session you will learn about the history of Capoeira, how to do the basic movements, become skilled in defensive moves to avoid attacks and learn the basic rhythm on the instruments. This will be a movement class, so come in comfortable workout clothes. You can either wear tennis shoes or participate in bare feet.
