About This Activity

Dinosaurs may be extinct, but they are very much alive in Camp Jurassic. Campers learn about a variety of dinosaurs and their habitats. Rocks, minerals and fossils are studied along with a variety of related projects. Sample Projects: Pteonadon Model, Panning for Gems and Minerals, Volcano, And Dinosaur Egg Dig. In addition: Campers will work with additional take home projects. Special emphasis is placed on observation, inference, data collection, and just plain old fun! This is Geology 101! Brown School offers a full day camp from 8am - 6pm that includes Club Scientific activities, lunch and two snacks, water play and other indoor/outdoor activities. Camp counselors at Brown School are American Red Cross first response, first aid, CPR, AED and Epipen certified.
