C101 is for new enrollees C102 requires that enrollees have taken C101 This course will teach kids how to program (Code) using Scratch, an event-driven visual drag & drop programming language developed by MIT Media Lab. Scratch is a technology that allows kids to learn computer programming by snapping together graphical blocks. Scratch allows kids to learn fundamental computer science/coding concepts without having to learn any of the obscure punctuation and syntax of traditional programming languages. Fundamental programming concepts and best practices will be introduced as kids develop interactive computer programs. This course will teach kids to think creatively and solve problems.
