About This Activity

Hoping to get a jump start on your Precalculus studies? Or have you taken Precalculus and struggled with Trig? Then this is your class. Our goal is to send you into the next school year with a strong understanding of this complicated material. We’ll cover all the basics of trigonometry this summer—right triangle and unit circle definitions, graphs of trig functions, analytic trigonometry (proofs!), applications, inverse trig functions, and the laws of sines and cosines. This course is designed for students who have completed Algebra Trig, and are looking for a jumpstart on Precalculus or for students who have taken Precalculus, and want to bolster their trigonometry skills before taking Calculus next year. It is strongly recommended that students bring their tablets to this class as the textbook they will need to purchase is an ibook ($14.99). Taught by Ms. Jennifer Freeman. Trigonometry is open to students who will be a junior or senior at Seattle Prep in the 2016-2017 school year.
