Introduces beginning and continuing students to yogic principles of body alignment and breathing awareness, inspired by a meaningful intention and a joyful attitude. Emphasis is placed on standing poses and strengthening and stretching the legs, back, and shoulders. Benefits of this practice include improved muscle tone, increased circulation, better concentration, and deeper relaxation. Wear comfortable clothes such as t-shirts, shorts, tights, or leggings.
