Level PS – Pre School – Introduction to group instruction and fundamentals of swimming.
- • Entry to, movement in and exit from water
- • Face in water and holding of breath
- • Front and back float with recovery to vertical
- • Rolling over
- • Treading water – arm and leg movement
- • Basic crawl with arm and leg actions
- • Personal and group safety instruction
ALL 4 AND 5 YEAR OLDS MUST REGISTER FOR THIS LEVEL. THIS PROGRAM IS FOR RESIDENTS ONLY. Parents are cautioned against registering a child for too high a level. Maturity, physical strength and mastery of basic skills are important considerations. Repetition of a swim level is not uncommon and is often suggested.
