This is a class for caregivers and children to learn and play together. It features songs, games, stories, rhymes and props that provide sensory stimulation. Rhythms, movement and dance shake it up and add to the fun. With the help of their caregivers children will develop fine and gross motor coordination and cognitive skills while improving social relationships and expression.
Instructor Michele Goldin graduated from George Mason University with a degree in the Culture of Spanish Dance and earned her master´s degree in Performance Studies from New York University. She has performed for a wide variety of audiences in venues including the Embassy of Spain in Washington, The Library of Congress, the Organization of American States and various military departments in the US and the UK; as well as a musical tour of Bolivia in 2000. She has been a bilingual teacher of Spanish dance, ballet and creative movement for almost 13 years in the D.C. area, New York and Madrid. She founded Hello! Creative Movement in English in 2008, an original method designed for young children to experience bilingualism and a love for the arts, two components that have been fundamental in her own life. Her goal has been to create a fun and loving environment for kids to hone and develop their linguistic, physical and creative abilities. Since 2008 her dance schools have grown from having 3 students to nearly 400 in the UK and the US.
