For swimmers who have completed learn-to-swim lessons and are ready for something more challenging and/or they want to prepare for competitive swimming.
Southlake Stingrays Stroke & Turn Clinics are designed for the competitive and/or strong swimmer who wants to enhance their stroke technique in order to achieve greater competitive swimming success and receive a good aerobic workout.
Swimmers need to be very comfortable in the water with the ability to swim laps of freestyle and backstroke, with some experience with breaststroke required (speed is not a factor and swimmers will be given instruction tailored to their skill level). Butterfly will also be a part of the program but it is not required that swimmers be skilled in butterfly. Swimmers will be required to wear one-piece suits (preferably racing suits), goggles and caps.
Please note: No classes will be held during the week of Thanksgiving Break (November 21-27) but there will be class the first Sunday of Thanksgiving Break, on November 20, 2016.
