Course Description: Multi-Sensory Phonetic Instruction Reading Program supports struggling readers by providing targeted, evidence-based literacy intervention. Using visual, auditory, kinesthetic, and tactile strategies, the program strengthens phonics, decoding, and fluency skills for students with diverse learning needs. By engaging multiple learning pathways, it builds confidence, closes achievement gaps, and sets students on the path to lifelong reading success. Instructor: December Watts Instructor Bio: December holds a Master’s degree in Special Education and is extensively trained in a variety of Orton-Gillingham–based reading programs and strategies. With expertise in multi-sensory instruction, she specializes in supporting struggling readers through structured, evidence-based literacy interventions that build confidence and lasting skills.
