Description
Learning to play a musical instrument helps a child develop confidence and make the connection between effort and accomplishment. The ukulele is a perfect instrument for a child to master because it is easy to learn, very portable, and encourages the child to sing.In this class, students will learn to play the ukulele and accompany themselves singing some of their favorite songs. By the end of the program students will have learned enough to play full songs on their own.
The ukulele is easy for kids to learn and provides a smooth transition to the guitar if they are so inclined when they get a little older.
Students can bring their own ukulele or check one out from the instructor for use in class and to practice at home for the duration of the class.
