About This Activity
Missouri Baptist University is so excited for our 2024 Spring Spartan Line Dance Clinic & Tryout on April 20, 2024! This clinic is open to all high school-age dancers, although only seniors may use this as their official tryout. The clinic will be conducted by the MBU Dance coaching staff and the current dance captains on the team. Throughout the two-hour clinic, we will teach you three short combos in jazz, hip-hop, and pom. Additionally, you will receive individualized coaching for turns, leaps, and tumbling tricks, including a headspring, kip up, and aerial. This clinic is an amazing opportunity to learn from college coaches, meet current college dancers, showcase your talents, master your skills, and refine your technique! If you are a senior and interested in using this as an official tryout, simply email head competitive dance coach Abby Jeschke at Abby.Jeschke@mobap.edu with your full name and graduation year. Attendees are required to wear dance clothes with hair put up and out of their face. Be sure to also bring any dance shoes you may need (turners, jazz shoes, tennis shoes etc.).
