Introduction to Cub Scouting BSA’s Cub Scout program is all about encouraging youth to make friends, be helpful to others, learn new skills and do their very best no matter the outcome. For this program, our focus is to provide interactive activities designed to be fun for children while teaching them about perseverance, developing problem-solving abilities and giving exposure to outdoor-based skills. Our goal is to provide an introduction to Scouting and potentially foster an interest in a full Scouting experience leading to character & leadership development, community involvement, and personal fitness. The Intro to Cub Scouting Program is open to all Kindergarteners through 5th graders whether they are already involved with a Cub Scout Pack or not.
