About This Activity
Join us as we enjoy and explore nature this fall! We will play games, create nature art, explore the natural spaces of the park (forests, beach, pond, etc), enjoy our Wild Child garden, learn bushcraft skills and tool use, and learn about the plants, bugs, animals, and more that call the park their home. This program is run using Forest School principles of child-led, inquiry-based learning and programming. We have access to indoor washrooms at the park. Please dress your children in clothing appropriate for the weather forecast, and pack extra clothes, as we will be outside rain or shine! Please also pack a water bottle and hearty snacks to keep them fueled for their adventures! *Please note there are no sessions on Oct 11 due to holidays. **Please note that the Sept 20 session will likely be held at Victoria Park, to be confirmed soon. *November 1st is a storm cancellation make-up date, if needed.
