This activity is closed to further registration.
The Morning Addition portion of the program is designed for those families that need early morning options before the school day starts. Staff will be available to provide informal recreation activities and will walk participants to Takoma Park or Piney Branch Elementary School because they are in walking distance. Children will also have time for homework assignments, breakfast (not provided) or prepare for their day at school.
During Afternoon Addition, emphasis is placed on providing leisure and recreation programs utilizing our facilities to include but not limited to the dance studio, art room, game room, athletic fields and more. Activities planned include: special guests, sports, study time and playtime that will enlighten, empower and enrich minds and imaginations. Snack is provided daily. Staff will be available pick up participants from Takoma Park and Piney Branch Elementary Schools.
Morning/Afternoon Addition will be closed whenever Montgomery County Public Schools are closed due to teacher/professional days, weather, energy problems or other emergencies.
Morning/Afternoon Addition is open for MCPS half days, running from 1:00-6:30pm.
Attendance Policy:
New for the 2024-2025 School Year, we are implementing an attendance policy. In an effort to provide services to families with the most need, the attendance is as follows:
- If you miss 5 consecutive days, you will be considered for withdrawal.
- If you miss 10 consecutive days, you will be recommended for withdrawal from the program.
Completed paperwork must be submitted prior to the start of the program.
Payment plan requires 20% payment at checkout.
A late payment fee of $25.00 per child will be assessed on all scheduled tuition payments not made by due dates:

Missed payments of more than two weeks will cause withdrawal of the participant.
