About This Activity

Description

I was raised in a small town and the local country club had a teen night during the summer that was specifically designed for teens from all over the county to have some summer fun. I want to start that tradition here for Teen Pickleballer’s in Williamson County, by hosting this league night at the new Sports Complex (4662 Bethesda Road).

Pickleball is the fastest growing sport in the world and it is no longer just for Senior Citizens. It spans all age brackets and is growing so fast in the younger age brackets that it is predicted to be an Olympic Sport within the next 6 to 8 years. Also, several of the college tennis coaches that I know, expect to be offering scholarships in the next 3 to 4 years. Who knows several of you might become a college or even an Olympic Pickleball Player!!!
This “Teen Night” unique league format allows you to come and play for up to 3 hours 5:30PM to 8:30 PM every Monday Night in June (probably will do it again in July). No need to find partners. Just come with friends show up whatever time you can get there and leave the same way.
This fun, Summer, league is designed for ages 13 to 19 (rising Freshmen to recently graduated students). Competitive as well as beginner players are all welcome and will be separated into courts based on skill level. On the competitive courts this league will also allow teams from each school to play against a rival school of your choice (Brentwood vs Franklin, etc.)
Beginners will learn how to play properly and have a lot of fun doing it. Free instructional pointers for those still learning to play.I look forward to seeing you all on the courts in a couple of weeks!
