We're sorry, but this activity is over. The last meeting was Thursday, November 10, 2016.
Did you know that 3D design skills are used in robotics, 3D printing, architecture, animation, CGI (movie special effects), health and science modeling, and more? When students explore basic 3D concepts, especially at an early age, they begin to see it in the world all around them. Some may even develop a hobby or a potential career path from it! In this class, Mr. Devoto will provide daily mini-lessons and challenges for students to learn and develop their 3D design skills. They will have opportunities to partner up and work on a variety of fun design projects independently, with a partner, or in small groups. We will explore 3D design principles in both the physical and digital worlds using a variety of best-in-class apps. A fun, collaborative environment will provide the structure and guidance for students to work at their own pace. This class is for all students. Mr. Devoto is currently serving as Math TOSA for the Reed Union District, has a Masters in Education, Media Design & Technology, and is an Apple Distinguished Educator.
