About This Activity

*Our baseball game program is designed to help develop baseball skills and knowledge by playing the game itself. We have a 15 minute warm-up and baseball specific drills followed by a game. Our T-Ball/Baseball program is designed for all skill levels (beginners, intermediate and advanced). Athletes will learn and develop new skills, improve their athleticism and learn important life skills such as teamwork, respect and confidence through drills, fun games and scrimmages. All of our instructors and coaches have played or coached baseball at a high level (highschool, university, provincial, semi-pro, pro) and are trained in First Aid and Epipen. All equipment is provided (balls, bats, cones, gloves, pinnies, helmets). Athletes are separated into groups based on skill and age. Athletes will learn and develop the following concepts and techniques through a series of baseball specific drills: - Throwing - Catching - Hitting (Load, Stride, Swing) - Catching ground balls - Correct catching stance - Correct hitting stance - Positions - Strategy - Sliding (advanced) - Properly warming up (baseball specific dynamic stretches to ensure maximum physical performance and injury prevention) - Mental preparation
