The Hoop House Basketball (HHB) skill and development clinic consists of 10 minutes of warm-up and dynamic stretches, followed by skill stations (approximately 30-40 min.) and a game or modified scrimmage to apply the concepts learned during the clinic. Athletes are instructed by highschool, college/university level players and coaches. Participants are divided into groups based on skill level and age. Whether beginner or advanced, Hoop House Basketball will teach and develop their skills in a safe and fun environment. The HHB experience will also teach campers important life skills such as confidence, respect, teamwork and leadership. Skills covered and taught during the clinics are: Shooting, dribbling, passing, triple threat, footwork, defense, one on one moves, moving without the ball, motion, pick and roll, teamwork, strength and conditioning, offensive and defensive strategies, positions. Players may be recommended and have the chance to participate our competitive team (Rep) which competes in the Ontario Basketball Association under Hoop House Elite.
