About This Activity

New innovations in medicine sometimes come from the smallest of places. Nanobiotechnology explores the world of small scale particles from nanotechnology and integrates them with the tools and devices of biotechnology - from nanoparticles and biological machines, to the synthetic replication of human DNA to reverse engineering viruses - all with the intention of curing human disease. This course introduces students to the new innovations of nanobiotechnology like regenerative medicine, and gene therapy. Students will get the chance and used tools of current day biomedical engineers like gel electrophoresis, bacterial transformation, and nanotherapy.
