About This Activity

There is an increasingly large role for engineers to play in the realm of business innovation given the world’s complex and interconnected problems. Student will learn the fundamental principles of engineering analysis and design, and combine them with concepts of business model creation and structure. They will apply technical thinking to identify systemic problems and create solutions to address them. Throughout the week, participants will work in teams to develop their analyses as well as solutions in the form of business proposals, which will be judged by engineering entrepreneurs.
