About This Activity

This course will review the fundamental principles of flight. It will begin with a review of aerospace systems, their components and their design. Students will be introduced to integrated areas of science that make flight possible. These include aerodynamics and propulsion (the science of flow), stability, control and structures. The course ends with a review of some of the current and future trends in aerospace engineering. Additionally, students will build their own flying vehicle!
