Children’s Choir can help your elementary student develop self-esteem, musicality, teamwork, perseverance, and a sense of belonging. Our theme for the semester will be ROAR. Rehearsals will teach musical concepts in a fun and age-appropriate manner through games, lessons, movement, listening, breathing, rhythm, and singing! We will work on a variety of musical selections that illustrate the truth and character of God through the lyrics originally written and performed by Elevation Rhythm, Gracie Binion, Brandon Lake, Phil Wickham, Austin French, Elevation Worship, Brook Ligertwood, and Cody Carnes. Memorizing Godly lyrics set to music will help students internalize Biblical principles that they will carry with them throughout life. There are lots of scientific studies that claim that singing also helps children to self-regulate, keep calm, and release happy endorphins. Choir is a joy-bringer!
