PROGRAM DETAILSOur most intensive program for 2016. Athletes entering the Speed School will begin the fall season in the best shape of their lives. The core of this program is devoted to developing the 3 pillars of athleticism: Speed, Power, and Agility. Aspiring athletes will receive detailed instruction on the biomechanics of sprinting, cutting, and jumping. By the end of the program all athletes will learn how to: sprint faster, accelerate more explosively, jump higher and farther, change direction quicker, decelerate under control, breathe properly, and avoid injury during hard fitness sessions. This type of instruction is generally reserved for professional teams/athletes.
PROGRAM STRUCTURERegistered athletes will train at a frequency of 2 sessions per week for a total of 8 weeks (16 sessions). Athletes will choose either Monday/Wednesday or Tues/Thursday. The program runs for 10 weeks so athletes are free to choose any 8-week period at 2 sessions per week to complete their 16 sessions. This flexible program has been designed for athletes wanting to train all summer but need 2 weeks off for vacation. If you need more than 2 weeks off for vacation athletes may choose to train 3 sessions per week (to complete their 16 sessions). If you are not going on vacation and would like to train all 10 weeks this can be arranged.
