About This Activity

Go on a research vessel, observe wildlife over and on the water, explore underwater habitat with a Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV), use microscopes in our lab, and learn about endangered species in Lake Champlain. Guided by professional scientists, this group will work in multiple freshwater science disciplines and contribute data to ongoing studies. Each day we will connect with the Lake and answer questions like, “What’s a seiche?”, “What are mycids?” and “What made that fossil?”
