Students explore and compare different styles of acting (including Classical, Shakespearean, and modern) that incorporate heightened language, physical elements and circumstances experienced in everyday life. This course will focus on preparation of text for auditions and performance and an emphasis on acting as an ensemble. Original play creation, theatrical production, and performance, and ensemble work make up the core of this program. This year long program is for those students who share a passion for pursuing a career in the performing arts. Students will delve into the challenges that actors and producers face daily as they continue to expand your skills for a career in the arts. This program will include outside performances and rehearsals. Admission to this program is by Audition, Invitation, or Interview only.
