About This Activity
Who: participants with autism who are 10 and older What: Co-ed Tennis Our coaches and staff will use their expertise, modeling, and visuals to teach skills and understanding of the game. We hope to increase our athlete’s physical endurance, coordination, attention, and social interaction through team play. Where: FACT Autism Resource Center 3509 Virginia Beach Blvd Virginia Beach, VA 23452 When: Saturday afternoons March 9- April 27 from 12:00-1:00pm Why: Our goal is for every child to walk out of the gym with a smile on their face, but we also hope to increase our athlete’s physical endurance, coordination, attention, and social interaction through team play. Parents are required to stay for this program. Bleachers inside the gym and/or a quieter waiting area will be available to our families as they wait for program to end.
