About This Activity

How does a frog survive 100 degree weather in the summer and freezing temperatures in the winter? How does a plant know when to come out of the ground and when to lose its leaves? Learn how plants and animals cope with the ever-changing seasons and learn about the natural patterns all around us throughout the year. We will spend time outdoors exploring and focusing on the importance of hibernation and migration for animal survival. Games, experiments, and crafts will compliment our explorations
