PLEASE NOTE - THIS CLASS IS ONLY OPEN TO STUDENTS WHO HAVE COMPLETED 101A. FOR THOSE STUDENTS WHO HAVE NOT COMPLETED 101A WE WILL BE OFFERING AN INTENSIVE ROBOTICS CLASS 101A THE WEEK OF MARCH 31ST AND 101B THE WEEK OF APRIL 6TH. THIS INTENSIVE CLASS WILL MEET EVERY AFTERNOON AFTER SCHOOL FROM 3:30-5:00. Class 201 will be offered in the Spring session after Spring Break. This class is an 8 WEEK class and will end March 6th, with options for make-up classes the following week. Students in this class will begin by dissecting a robot to identify critical parts and move into hands-on examples of understanding the pieces that go into robot circuits, what you can put on a robot to make it intelligent and be shown short cuts and insider secrets to programming your robot. The class will culminate with the famous Robot Jeopardy (TM) competition, a group game that challenges the child's mind to call on their memory and imagination and win.
