PE teacher Luke Kovacs has developed a unique boys running program that encourages boys not only to run, but to run better. Working on the fundamentals of running, and correcting students’ form makes students more efficient runners, reducing long-term injuries and helping them enjoy one of the most effective forms of exercise available. Running boosts self-confidence, curbs obesity and, perhaps most significantly of all, instills exercise habits that can last a lifetime. Class meets Monday (Grades 2-3) or Tuesday (Grades 4-5) from 3:30-4:30 PM and Thursday mornings from 7:30 - 8:30 AM. Meet inside by the gym in the mornings.
