Description
This Program is for 4 year old boys and girls who want to have fun and learn the basic skills of baseball. Throwing, fielding, running bases and batting off a tee will be introduced. Parents will work hands on with their child while being led by a qualified instructor. Please request t-shirt size when you register. We will not have extra shirts to exchange. T-shirts are sponsored by Scheels.
Youth must be 4 years old by the start of the program. No exceptions! Register according to elementary school they plan to attend in Kindergarten.
Practices and games will rotate between 5:45pm and 6:45pm on the schedule. Practice and games will be 45 minutes.
This is a parent/child class. One parent or guardian must be present to assist with their child during Tball.
Players should bring their own glove and water bottle. Helmets are not required for parent/tot tball. Please label any personal equipment with name and phone number.
The registration deadline is May 24. After registration deadline, late fees will apply. Registration fee is $40 due by May 24 after May 24, fee will go up to $60.
Team schedules will be email and posted online at wfparks.org by June 28 for July session. Team rosters will be set up according to school attending.
Individual and team photos will be taken by a professional photographer, with the option to order photo packages. Dates and times will be emailed and posted at wfparks.org in June.
“Buddy” Policy:
Each Participant may request one friend as a “buddy”. The buddy requested must also request you in order for the buddy request to be considered a match. All other requests (e.g. multiple buddies, buddy chains) will not be granted. Requests to play on the same team will not be guaranteed. Siblings are always buddied unless a specific request not to do so is made. When siblings are placed together, no other buddy request is granted.
