The Boys lacrosse camp led by Head Coach Jacob Webb will provide participants an opportunity to learn about the basics of lacrosse. Players will learn about cradling, dodging, passing, catching, shooting, face offs, defense and offense. After warming up, stretching and putting on the lacrosse equipment, players will be instructed by current TKA Varsity lacrosse coaches and varsity players on the fundamentals of this fast paced sport. Players will then practice their skills in small setting drills and small group competitions with each day ending in a lacrosse scrimmage. A spiritual component is also a part of the lacrosse camp with devotionals being shared each day. Players should arrive each day with cleats, a mouth piece and a large water bottle. Players are encouraged to bring their own equipment, however equipment will also be available to use each day. A T-shirt and lunch will be provided.
