About This Activity
Whether your children are too young to volunteer or you’re looking for a new way to entice your kids to read, reading to shelter animals is the perfect match. Here is your opportunity to try out the Tale for Two reading. Children can bring their favorite book, grab a stool and read to our rescues. This program benefits both children and shelter animals by providing socialization for our rescues and reading practice for children in front of a non-judgmental audience. All new readers will need to attend a virtual orientation before they are able to read.
