Welcome to the 2025-2026 Lazelle Youth Basketball Program. We are happy that you have chosen us for your child’s basketball experience! We are excited to get the ball rolling and hope that you find the upcoming season to be rewarding for both you and your child.
Our program’s main goal is to create a fun, inclusive environment where players of all skill levels can enjoy basketball and build positive connections.
The Basketball Program at Lazelle revolves around this goal for everyone who participates! We encourage and expect everyone to be positive at all practices and games and to cheer for all the players, not just your child or your team. We also expect sportsmanship at all games towards the officials, staff, team members and coaches.
Registration for the upcoming season is Oct. 7 through Nov. 23 (unless a league fills prior).
Registrations taken after Nov. 23 may or may not be accepted depending on availability of spaces per league. Once a league is full, players will be placed on a waitlist. Wait-listed registrants will be called if space becomes available.
Basketball season begins on Saturday, January 10, 2026 and will end on Saturday, February 21, 2026. All games are played on Saturday with practice once per week.6U Practices will be on Fridays Game Times:6U=5-6 yr. League: 9:30, 10:15, 11:008U= 7-8 yr. League: 9:30, 10:15, 11:0010U= 9-10 yr. Refunds will not be made after November 29, 2025! The fee is for the child’s uniform and games! Practice time is not a part of the fee and cannot be guaranteed! Each coach will set their practice schedule, please work with your coach and remember they are volunteers who are taking their time to work with your child! Staff will assign players to individual teams. We will make efforts to place players on teams based on their request, but please be aware that we cannot guarantee these requests.

Once teams are assigned, we will notify the coaches, and they will then begin to contact their players. Practices will begin the week of December 8th. Once the season begins, practice is not guaranteed, but every effort will be made to have time available for all the teams to practice once each week here at the center. There is no practice the weeks of December 22nd and 29th. Practices will resume the week of January 5th.
