About This Activity
Description
This program is for teen and tween girls from the ages of 12 through 18. Each week explores a new topic like self-esteem, resilience, friendships and body positivity. Girls will participate in discussions, creative activities, and reflection time in a supportive space led by a trained mentor. This program is hosted under the umbrella of Mylah's Mission. The curriculum and activities are licensed from Self-esteem Rising, whose expertise in self-esteem education aligns beautifully with our mission to support young girls. Led by volunteer Instructor, Marla O'Hara. Each class listing is for a 4 week Registration and each session builds on the curriculum of the previous session. Session B is from 10/20 - 11/10.
