Do your children love to: play games, run around, jump obstacles, roll down hills, make friends, and have FUN? Do you think they would love to do all that, while they learn how to GOLF?! The answer is, undeniably, YES! Birdie Bombers Program will introduce FUN golf related exercises and activities to our existing golf instruction! We will spend roughly 30 minutes on basic instruction, along side 30 minutes of FUN activities and exercises! All of our youth baseball, basketball, football, tennis, and swimming camps have been implementing FUN activities to build strength, speed, endurance, and hand eye coordination. Years of research has taught us how important Fitness and Nutrition is to the golf swing. The balance learned from walking across a balance beam relates directly to the balance required for a great golf swing. The speed and weight transfer involved with swinging a golf club can be improved by throwing a ball as far as they can. Simply rolling down a hill will teach them body control and rotation which is directly related to the golf swing. We will spend time covering the basics of: -Putting, -Chipping -Pitching -Grip, Aim, Set-up -Full Swing Analysis -Driving -Green Reading -Alignment -Course Repair -And much more Here is a list of some of the FUN activities and exercises we will be doing throughout the program: -Cone Cruise (weaving in between cones while walking or jogging) -Leap Frog (jumping over clubs or baskets under control) -Boulder Toss (tossing medicine balls sideways in a golf swing motion) -Pitch and Catch (focusing on hand eye coordination to catch and throw) -Pirate Plank (walking balance boards for stability and balance) -Barrel Roll (rolling down hills to learn rotation and body control) -And many more FUN activities and exercises!
