Welcome to Sportball. We are extremely excited to help your child learn and grow this season.
The following information contains some of our most frequently asked questions. Please take a look to help ensure your season goes great.
If you have any questions, concerns or feedback, please do not hesitate to ask your coach or give us a call in the office. We are eager to do everything we can to make this experience incredible for you and your little ones.
What to Wear/Bring:
Sneakers and comfy, lightweight clothes.
A no-spill water bottle for your child.
Soccer Programs: Soccer cleats are optional at all ages.
Baseball/T-Ball Programs: Baseball gloves are recommended for 3-5 and 5-9 year old programs. Not required at all for 2&3 year old programs.
Each child should bring a hat, a small nut-free snack, and a drink in a non-breakable container.
Full-Day Camps also require that each child bring a sac lunch.
A swim towel and bathing suit is required for camps with water play activities. it is best if swim suits are warn under their clothes each day.
Material Fee for Soccer Balls & Jersey
Soccer Programs: A material fee is due to the instructor on the first day of class for your child's soccer ball & jersey ($20).
Baseball & T-Ball Programs: A material fee is due to the instructor on the first day of class for your child?s jersey ($10).
Outdoor Programs: A parent/guardian is required to remain field side at all times to ensure the safety of your child and assist when things like potty breaks arise.
Indoor Programs: Most indoor activity rooms do not have space to accommodate a viewing area for adults. Indoor programs will require that all parents/guardians not participating in the class, watch from outside the activity room. This will minimize distraction for the kids and increase the space available for the kids to play. For kids that feel uncertain in this situation the coach will work with you to transition them to be comfortable in an independent environment.
Parent & Child / Junior Programs: 1 parent/guardian per child is required to participate with their child throughout the entire class. All other adults must remain on the sidelines or outside of the activity room.
Photos: Still photos are permitted during class, although we ask you stay off of the field as it can be distracting to the coaches and kids. We are not able to permit video recording.
Siblings: Siblings not enrolled in the program are not permitted into an activity room or onto the field during class (infants in baby carriers are an exception).
Sportball does not cancel classes in advance based on weather predictions. Your coach will make every attempt to be at the field ready to run your class regardless of weather. The coach and parents who arrive at the field can decide together if conditions are (or become) unsafe.
City, school and community center officials do reserve the right to cancel classes held on their fields or at their facilities due to their own policies. Sportball will make every effort to notify parents when this occurs.
Refunds or make up classes are not available for missed classes.
