About This Activity
---Instructor: Dona Davis---Explore the magical world of paper puppetry! In this course, we’ll explore turning stories into puppet plays with paper. Using our favorite books and stories, we’ll create settings and puppets to bring them to life. We’ll also explore pop-up theater, creating simple pop-up stages and puppets for our stories. We’ll share our creations by performing for each other, but we’ll also share them through videos. We’ll use our favorite books to inspire us, but we’ll also play storytelling games to fire up our imagination skills and create stories of our own. Our goal will be to have created several puppet plays during this time. Price Includes a materials fee. All students will wear masks and class size will be limited owing to social distancing requirements. Note: No class February 20.
