This activity is closed to further registration.
Grades: K-5th. Let’s ‘visit’ London, New York, Mexico, and Melbourne to learn how some of the world’s most amazing large-scale urban art installations are made. Working with mixed media such as acrylic and tempera paints, paint markers, and gel sticks, we’ll choose our favorite installations as inspiration for our own colorful murals, and design a large-scale canvas project together! We'll also create individual works of art to take home each week. Instructor: Jinelle Sherry. 8 classes.
Meet Ms. Jinelle Sherry:
Jinelle Sherry is a local artist and maker who’s been sharing classes + workshops + camps for almost ten years. Highlights have been designing large-scale collaborative and team-building workshops at UofM and The United Way.
“Encouraging adults and children to explore art in its many forms and find their creative voice is the best part of being an art teacher!” - jinelle
