Instructions and class activities will be conducted primarily in Spanish, with emphasis on oral language development. Children with minimal prior exposure to Spanish will acquire basic communication skills and general vocabulary pertaining to the topics presented. Worksheets with reading and writing will be provided to reinforce skills throughout the week. Children will also listen to Spanish traditional stories, watch Spanish cartoons and short movies, and learn Spanish arts and crafts. Parents are expected to leave the classroom while the session is in progress. They are welcome to wait in our lounge room or just leave and come back.
