About This Activity
BASIS Independent Bellevue has partnered with 1UP Recreation to offer Field Hockey this season! Field Hockey is a niche sport being reintroduced to schools in the Pacific Northwest! In this program, students will be divided by skill and grade level as they learn the ins and outs of the game. Through a variety of field hockey drills and games, participants will practice all the techniques used in the sport, such as dribbling, passing and receiving, ball control, shooting, defensive tackling, and positioning. Students will learn to be team players and tell their friends about a new sport on campus! Students will have the opportunity to competitively play the game of field hockey. The game schedule will be provided to parents at the start of the season.
