About This Activity
Our Earth Skills program builds on a child’s natural curiosity and puts their love for naturalist skills to the test. We’ll spend our summer days playing nature awareness games, singing songs, wildcrafting, whittling and carving, hiking, tracking, and seeing what the farm's food forest has to offer us. We’ll build our skills each day by visiting a different part of the farm and surrounding land while deepening our connection to the various ecosystems around us. We'll be sure to leave plenty of time to just be and experience nature in all of her beauty. Homestead Week: We'll learn how to live with the land by searching for and learning to utilize natural resources to thrive and survive.
